I worked as a cabin attendant with Solaseed Air, which was known as Skynet Asia Airways at the time, for about two years. I remember many passengers telling me how convenient it was to have a mirror on board — especially when looking for their vinyl umbrellas or small items like key chains that had slipped into the overhead stowage bins.
I found that using a mirror first, before stepping up to check the overhead stowage bins directly, made it easier and faster to find things.
We also used to check behind the seats, and I believe a mirror would make that job much simpler too. A CC Mirror* would be especially helpful for checking the O₂ bottle gauge — we wouldn’t need to lean in so close anymore.
I think it’s a small but very thoughtful tool that could really make a difference in our daily work.
